We encourage those with sincere interest to take some time to check out our website and really appreciate the quality of the dogs we are striving for here at Paxton Great Danes. We focus on the fawn and brindle color families within the breed, and we put a great deal of emphasis on correct temperament, health, and longevity. All our puppies are raised in our home, with a combination of ENS, Puppy Culture, Avidog practices. Our adults enjoy the enrichment of AKC shows and many other activities. They are all fully health tested with all results posted to the OFA public health database.
We are happy to answer any question you may have and encourage you to stay in touch for the future. We offer this knowing people rarely wait for a puppy. Our society is too immediate and very few families are prepared to wait for the sort of quality puppy and breeder relationship that we have to offer. And that is fine, it is not our intent to ever produce enough puppies for all who inquire.
We do work to place puppies off of a questionnaire/application process and maintain an active wait list of potential families. Very often puppies are spoken for before they are born. Occasionally we are blessed with a larger than average litter and can accommodate additional families. We are thrilled to boast many repeat families and of course they get special consideration.
We require a fully completed questionnaire to start the screening process with us. This website is a wonderful place to follow us and our Great Dane passion. For those more local we offer to have interested parties come out and meet with us at a show as getting to know our potential families is really important to us.
We always encourage potential families to do their homework and to utilize the great resources out there. In particular the parent club (Great Dane Club of America) breeder referral, and the OFA public health database.
